It’s that in-between time of year…the end of snow forts, but the parks aren't quite play-ready yet. Fortunately there are a number of fun kid-friendly events in Thunder Bay in April, from ski hill shenanigans to breakfast with the Easter Bunny. (It really is all about the Bunny this month, isn’t it?) Here’s the lineup:
March 31, April 1 Disney's Mulan Jr., Confederation College
Mulan performed by 7- to 11-year-olds in the All the Daze program: wow! A cool way to introduce kids to live musical theatre.

Dummy Downhill, Loch Lomond
The goofily creative annual event is back, where you can watch dummies get launched off The Giant ski run at Loch Lomond Ski Area. The dummies have to be between two and six feet high and be mounted on skis, and past designs have included a Minion and Sponge Bob Square Pants. What better way to celebrate the fun of April Fool’s Day?

Meet the Bunnies, Toy Sense
Little ones will get a kick out of meeting a fuzzy Easter Bunny character at Toy Sense. On April 15, the Easter Bunny is joined by another sweet character, a Calico Critters rabbit. Think of the photo ops. Awww…
